Best Thai Salad Dressing
Best Thai Salad ever? By far! And one of the healthiest Thai salad’s you could have. Here’s there recipe, including the best Thai salad dressing, and of course, it’s nutritional information.
10g red onion
40g grated carrot
15g rice noodles
Add a bit of coriander, or if you’re me, add the whole bunch (I LOVE the stuff!).
This serves one, double the ingredients for two or for left overs for lunch tomorrow.
This salad doesn’t contain that much protein so if you’re having it as a main meal make sure you add some form of protein. Grilled strips of beef or a few fresh prawns go brilliantly.
The secret to this salad is to chop all the ingredients really finely, including the rocket.
The best Thai salad dressing I make, I think actually makes the salad. But I never measure the stuff I put in it and it tastes different all the time (but always good!), sometimes it also depends on what I have in my kitchen… but basically, and in order of amounts:
Best Thai Salad Dressing:
- Sweet chilli sauce
- Fresh lime juice
- Sesame oil (add this one slowly until you get the flavour you like – it’s strong and can be overpowering if you over pour!)
- Fish sauce
To make it even more amazing if you have time: chopped coriander and grated fresh ginger. I put all these ingredients in the blender and make a lot of it to store in the fridge in a bottle.
